2026 AK-PA Psychology Awards Nominations

Please nominate, AK-PA members, psychologists colleagues, mental health professionals, and others who are the best fit for the awards below. Self-nominations are welcome. Please include your reason for the nomination in 1000 words or less. You do not need to provide a nomination in every category. Please include your name and number/email so we can contact you if needed.

Baker-Lane Award

Awarded to an AK-PA member for meritorious service to the association.

Distinguished Psychologist Award

Awarded to an AK-PA member who is greatly admired and respected for their work in the community.

Lifetime Achievement Award

Awarded to an AK-PA member for their longtime leadership or service to the association.

Cultural Humanitarian Award

Awarded to a group or person doing outstanding work to advance human welfare in their community or in the state.

Distinguished Rural Provider

Awarded to a psychologist or mental health provider in recognition for extraordinary dedication as a rural behavioral health provider.

Distinguished Service Award

Awarded to a psychologist, mental health provider or educator who has provided distinguished service for their community or in the state.

Diversity Award

Awarded to a person doing outstanding work promoting diversity in their community or in the state.

Friend of Psychology Award

Awarded to a group or person who has helped advance the profession of psychology in their community or in the state.

Legislative Service Award

Given to a legislator that has sponsored and supported positive mental health legislation.
