David Wilcox,
Ph.D.
Dr. Wilcox has worked in the counseling and human
services field since 1971. He earned his Doctoral Degree in Clinical
Psychology in 1996 from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He holds
licenses of Psychological Associate and Licensed Marital and Family
Therapist, and is Certified Alaskan Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselor,
Level II.
He has been involved in a number of different
settings to include adolescent residential treatment centers,
Visiting Professor at the University of Alaska Anchorage, The Sex
Offender Assessment and Treatment Program for the State of Alaska
Dept. of Corrections, and with the Kenaitze Indian Tribe in Kenai.
Dr. Wilcox has been actively involved with AK-PA for a number of
years.
Dr. Wilcox currently has an Independent counseling
practice providing individual, couple, and family counseling. He
specializes in areas of depression, adolescent, developmental
disabilities, substance abuse, anger management, and internet
pornography.
